What's that sound?

That huge WHOOSHING sound you just heard was not the USS Lake Erie firing it's Aegis missiles at the derelict US satellite hurtling towards Earth. It was the sound of the energy and enthusiasm leaving the Clinton campaign and rushing over in ever increasing numbers to the Obama campaign.

Barack Obama just pummeled Hillary Clinton in Wisconsin this evening and presumably in Hawaii whose results we'll review in the morning. What is even more key and obvioiusly more exciting for Obama supporters is that Barack won by a landslide in a state that is over 90% white and in every single key Clinton demographic with the exception of the elderly, and that is probably because Clinton is one of them.

Clinton is still projected to do well with Texas Hispanics on March 4th but I believe that is because somewhere along the line her campaign started a rumor that her maternal great grandmother was a Mexican immigrant. I hear that she is now contemplating starting a rumor that her paternal great grandfather is from Kenya. More to follow.

I just listened to Barack's 45 minute victory speech at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. and I am compelled to say that Barack is actually adding more and more "meat on the bone" in his speeches. He is outlining his intentions as President and they are sounding more centrist than ever before. While many of his ideas are clearly left-wing, he also hit some fairly conservative notes with his appeal to control our borders and provide a strong defense for America as Commander in Chief.

Even John McCain sees Obama as the presumptive Democratic nominee. It is certain the the Wisconsin voters did this evening. They overwhelmingly indicated in exit polls that he is much more electable than Hillary Clinton.

Fact: Hillary Clinton is losing relevance as a potential nominee.
Fact: Every attack she makes against Obama ultimately backfires against her.
Fact: Both Texas and Ohio were huge leads for her as little as several days ago. Now her leads in both states are dwindling by the day.

Why? She has no ability to inspire passion, creativity and hope in the American people. Those are some of the key principles our nation was founded upon. She represents politics as usual and Americans are sick of it. As I mentioned in an earlier post, people vote from emotion, passion and belief in somemone more than anything else. That is why it is so hard to change a voters mind once they have emotionally committed to a candidate. Herein lies Obama's strength...he possesses to ability to capture the Independents and undecideds. Clinton struggles with undecideds. She is working from a very limited and finite base. Obama is working from a potentially unlimited base.

This is why he will ultimately win the Democratic nomination. Hillary will not gain many more new voters. Barack will gain millions of new voters because people are buying into the hope and inspiration that he offers. And Americans want to be part of a winning team. It's becoming "hip" to vote Obama. Even in "white" states like Wisconsin.

For my two cents, all politics aside, I have always been extremely proud to be an American. Today, I have never been prouder to see so many people looking past race to vote for someone they believe in.

This...this is why America is great. We're far from perfect, but to see this immense support for a black man in this country...is breathtaking.

Now your vote is irrelevant!

I just can't help myself. As much as I'd like to comment on something or someone else, it seems like everyday the Clinton campaign does or says something so outrageous that it just requires my attention and comments.

In yet another blatantly brazen display of hubris and total disregard for the will of the voters, the Clinton campaign has stated that Sen. Clinton will win the democratic nomination regardless of the wishes of the voters.

I wish I was only kidding. If we need any more evidence of the coming planned fascist state that the Clintons want to foist upon us then we are completely numb and blind to what it happening. This is the closest thing I have ever seen to a takeover of the will of the people and the US government. I think our nation is on the verge of something sinister and dangerous. We should pay attention to this. I'm hoping to wake up any minute now and realize that this national nightmare known as the Clintons was only a very bad dream.

Hillary now says that the will of the voters is 'irrelevant'. Don't believe me? Just read this story.

This story is crystal clear proof from Clinton's senior advisor that they have absolutely no intention whatsoever of honoring the wishes of the voters. Remember my earlier post that Hillary believes she knows what's best for us? Well, if anyone thought that was just irrational ranting and raving, now I can step back and let Hillary do the dirty work for me. She thinks that the American people have no idea what is best for them and that we need her to guide us and do our thinking for us.

What is the point in voting if party insiders are going to make the decisions for the democrats? Are Barack Obama's efforts wasted because a few insiders winked at each other and gave the nod to Hillary? Will the dems disregard Barack's candidacy even though recent polling data indicate that he will defeat John McCain in the general election and Hillary won't even come close to beating McCain?

I know the democrats frequently disregard logic and reason in their thought process but this is the height of insanity for them. They are actually contemplating the permanent alienation of every voter who voted for Barack Obama, and practically every black person in the US to nominate Hillary when they know she can't beat McCain! They will pass up Obama who can win to nominate Hillary who can't. What part of that makes sense? I'm still waiting....all I hear is crickets in the background.

So, as usual this requires The Brother on the Right to get at what's underneath this crazy reasoning from the dems. And, because the root cause is so easily seen, heck, it's so easily seen a blind man can see it with both eyes closes and his hands over his face; it doesn't require a lot of analysis to identify it. What we are witnessing is what the dems have tried to hide for many, many years. Racism. And I'm not know for using the "R" word because it is too frequently used as a cop out for lack of personal responsibility but friends, this is pure racism at its worst. It's so bad that the dems aren't even trying to hide it. Harold Ickes just said that the Obama voters were "irrelevant". He said it not me. He is saying that the Civil Rights movement just stopped today so that Hillary can be nominated for President. They were ok with all of that Civil Rights stuff as long as it didn't get in the way of Hillary's nomination.

Once those uppity so and so's started voting for Obama, then someone need to put a stop to it and put them back in their place.

But be of good cheer. Since I am a "glass half full" kind of guy I have naturally seen the silver lining to this cloud of racism. When the Clintons attempt to pull this back room deal of seating the Michigan and Florida delegates, and negating the will of the voters, millions and millions of people will finally see the Clintons for what they truly are and then, then my friends I believe we will be rid of them forever. Perhaps we can get to work on real issues. These shenanigans will alienate so many people that I don't think the Clintons will ever be able to recover. They are so far removed from "real people" in their lives that they can't see the freight train that will hit them when they attempt to pull this garbage. And once again, The Brother on the Right will pull up his Barcalounger, put on my slippers, tell Rover to get my remote and enjoy a bucket of popcorn while I watch the end of their hypnotic hold on millions of good people.

Waterboarding is the New Skateboarding

Congress is allowing our ability to spy on our enemies expire due to lack of support on Capitol Hill. They are also going to disallow the practice of waterboarding. I'm ok with this. Really I am. I think our enemies need all of the advantages they can get. After all, us bad Americans shouldn't have made them mad. I'm fine with less security and no answers about attacks planned against us all in the name of playing fair.

Al-Qaeda played fair when they murdered 3000+ Americans on 9/11. We should be fair also right? I think they were perfectly reasonable when they crashed planes into WTC, The Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, PA.

I hope you sense the dripping sarcasm here. Any enemy that changes the rules and refuses to put on a uniform should be dealt with in the harshest manner possible to extract answers that could save American lives. Our lives. Waterboarding? Please! That should be the introductory method of getting information. From there it just gets worse.See Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's opinion...

At a practical level a very basic and fundamental question has to be asked: Are you OK with mild and gentle interrogation techniques at the possible expense of the lives of your family? If you learn that a detainee possessed information that would have saved your loved ones lives, would you be happy knowing that we could have easily extracted information that would have save their lives if we had used more agresssive interrogation techniques?

Is this what we have come to? Don't listen to our enemies conversations and don't talk harshly to them all in the name of being nice to Al-Qaeda? We are effectively allowing our enemy to walk right over us (literally and figuratevely) by eliminating our ability to eavesdrop and to use stringent interrogation measures.

I sincerely hope the CIA and any other interrogating authorities IGNORE Congress and do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get information that could save American lives. They have my permission to do so. Waterboarding should be entry level interrogation. It should be considered so mild that it will be equated to Skateboarding to a detainee.

Honestly, I don't care what our guys have to do to get information that could save my family. If the towel-heads are about to blow up a bomb right inside my city and we have a guy who could tell us that then I expect our officials to start with Waterboarding or anything else and then start dropping guys off of buildings if they need to.

We need to wake up to reality in this age. There are people in this world and in this country who want to destroy us and will stop at nothing to do it. They'd torture us in a HEARTBEAT if it would support their agenda. The fact that we are not willing to defend ourselves and precious American lives by any means necessary shows that we have lost our will to fight, stand up to fascism and look terror in the eye and spit back!

What Hillary Must Do To Win...

I'm starting feel bad for Hillary. If you think about it, at this point in the campaign she is supposed to be cruising to the nomination and naming her running mate. She should be shopping for her latest designer suit for her inauguration in January. She's supposed to be making the talk show circuit accepting the congratulations of the hosts and basking in the adoration of the masses.

Uh, Hillary have you awakened from your dream yet? You're in a dogfight and pulling out all of the stops just to stay alive for another three weeks. You're 11 points behind in the NATIONAL POLLS and absolutely need to win Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania to stay in this race. Your opponent has won 23 states to her 11 and is still peaking as his momentum and cash build.

Right now, you must think you're in some sort of nightmarish dream. And all when you had just hired an interior decorator to redesign the Oval Office. You also had to cancel the contract for a portrait of yourself to mount on the wall. How dare Obama challenge your ascension to the throne?

Well it's OK Hill-ree because The Brother on the Right wouldn't support you if the fate of the free world depended on it (oh, that's right it does!) but I am still a gentleman and feel badly about seeing Obama hitting you with so many left hooks it'll take you three days in an airplane to get back.

Here's some real advice. I'm being totally serious here. If Hill-ree follows this advice she can still possibly win the Dem nomination. First, stop chasing the black vote. Ain't gonna happen. The black vote is emotionally tied to Barack and no amount of skinnin' and grinnin' and collard green eatin' by your husband is going to change that. Stop trying to say "sista-girl" and "ya'll" because it only makes you look well...silly. And it's insulting. It doesn't matter if you get the NAACP endorsement, the Congressional Black Caucus endorsement, the Harlem Globetrotters endorsement, Jesse's endorsement, you fill in the blank. I don't care whose endorsement you chase after. The black vote is Barack's. No, blacks aren't blindly voting Barack just because he's black, but what you fail to realize is that the black vote is heavily weighted towards him due to the historical significance of the occasion. You can not penetrate 400 years of hope. There is a unprecedented sense of hope arising in the black community and many blacks don't want to miss the opportunity to vote for a viable black candidate. No, not even you can change that.

If you keep wasting time chasing the black vote you will foolishly continue to lose your already weakening base. You have got to consolidate your eroding base while you still have a base to consolidate. The brothers ain't voting "Hillary". Get over it. Show me a brother in the hood with a "Hillary" sticker on the bumper of his "hoop-dee" and I'll show you a chump about to get pulled from his ride to get a beat down. He'll ride away on a tricycle if he's lucky. That bumper will be shoved into an unwelcome place on his anatomy. I'm just keeping it real Hill-ree! You do want to be "down" don't you?

Focus on strengthening the latino vote, lower income white vote, white women vote and the elderly vote. Barack is cutting deeply into your base because your hoping that a photo op of Bill wearing an afro wig will get you over. Nope.

Take it from a brother...we ain't with you. That's "brother" for we are not voting for you. Just in case you try to talk black again. Oh, and don't go out and get extensions and start rolling your neck and practicing black skills. Don't show up on Tyra Banks show trying to dance. We don't like that. Work on your spanish and join AARP. That might help you survive the next three weeks.

Just being a gentleman!

Why I Agree With Al...

It has been a year of "first's" and today I have experienced another "first" that I thought I would never see. But first allow me to set the stage. In 2007 we saw the installation of our "first" woman Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. In this year we are now seeing our first woman or black democratic nominee for President of the United States. And today is the first ever time that I have ever agreed with Rev. Al Sharpton about anything...ever...in life...for all time....period. What's even scarier is that I even agree with his thought process and methodology. I am certain that Earth is about to crash into Saturn at any minute now. Either I have gone completely koo-koo or Al is taking sanity pills. I'm not sure which. What I do know is that he is actually making a point worth listening to and I suuuuuhhh...ssspppp....sptptptp.....supporrrr....support him. There, I said it. (Or wrote it. If I had been speaking I might have choked out loud.) This is a truly remarkable red letter day.

Before today Al would have had a hard time getting me to agree with him that Sunday is the first day of the week or that James Brown was the Godfather of Soul yet his stance on the democratic nomination process that is about to be hijacked (as usual) by the Clintons is right on the mark.

Prior to the Michigan and Florida primaries, the dem candidates, Obama, Clinton and Edwards all agreed not to campaign in those states. Both states actually moved their primary dates up into mid-January and as a result, those states delegates were removed as their penalty by the DNC. This penalty is an established by-law of the Democratic National Committee. This is not a new penalty that they just came up with. It is a long established penalty designed to ensure that states adhere to their primary dates. All of the democratic candidates agreed not to campaign and were supposed to focus their efforts and cash somewhere else.

Well, guess who broke the rules? You know who...that's right. Holier than thou Hillary still campaigned in the states that she had previously agreed not to campaign in. Obama and Edwards weren't even on the ballot in Michigan. Shucks, I could have won in Michigan with no competition. It's no surprise that Hillary won in both of those states and it has been a hollow victory because there were no delegates at stake. Until Clinton advisors, Carville, Ickes and the whole gang of usual suspects began lobbying the party to change the rules for Hillary now that Obama is making a mockery of her campaign.

That's right, the Clintons are bending or should I say obliterating the rules to suit their needs....again. If/when they coerce the DNC to seat those delegates in Hillary's favor, she will once again enjoy a lead for the nomination. Never mind those pesky rules or previous agreements that don't work in her favor. This is the Clinton Rules and what she wants she gets...at any cost.

This is where Rev. Al comes in. He's supporting Obama and is threatening to take legal action and protest at the DNC headquarters if the Clintons pull off their back room deal to win the nomination. I'm rooting for Al on this one because he's right. Way to go Al! I never thought The Brother on the Right would be behind Al on anything.

This is further evidence that Sen. Clinton can not be trusted. She will not keep her word if it doesn't support her agenda. She will do or say anything to get elected. And she is so brazen about it because she thinks she is untouchable and that this is her election and no one can take it away from her.

What she fails to realize is that the American People are not cattle, we're not stupid and we refuse to be her subjects. She is so completely unfit to lead that I believe our country would face disastrous consequences if we made the mistake of elevating her to the nation's highest office.

She touts her readiness to lead on day one. Does that mean that she is so eminently qualified that she would be the first President that would not have any learning curve in the position? Wow....she must really be something special.

The number one quality that I require in a President is integrity. Integrity is paramount. Because without it we can never know if this person says what they mean and means what they say. Certainly there is a long list of other important qualities that a President must have. But integrity is first and foremost. Without it all of their collective genius and skill are for naught.

Sen. Clinton's husband proved that to us.

This is why we have lost our way!

Today, America and the world witnessed a complete and total waste of taxpayers money and congressional time. This display amounts to fiscal malfeasance and represents a complete lack of fiduciary responsibility.

In fact, if corporate America spent it's time on these types of shareholder value wasting activities, Congress would be outraged and hold hearings on Capitol Hill and pass laws named after Senators and Congressmen.

What display am I referring to? The globally televised daytime drama called "Roids of our Lives." Today Congress spent several hours listening to Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee argue over whether Clemens actually used steroids and Human Growth Hormone (Hgh) or not. I mean they actually swore these guys in, called in the press, took their testimony and put these two guys on the grill.

How much money (our money) did they spend just to hear these guys say what they've already said at their own expense in the media? I'd day several million dollars at least of our money was spent just so congressmen and women could get some camera time. It is an election year after all.

What's worse is that nothing, and I mean nothing will ever come of these hearings. It is a complete waste of time, taxpayer dollars and congressional talent. I use the term "congressional talent" loosely. And yet Congressmen are walking around scratching their heads wondering why their approval rating is worse than President Bush.

What could their objective possibly be? This case will not go to court and if so for what reason? All they accomplished was getting someone to lie under oath. And now what? Ok, so someone lied. Should we stop everything else that Congress needs to focus on just so several congressmen and women can get camera time and catch someone lying? And how is this having a positive impact on the more pressing needs before us?

The reality of the situation is sad. It is even tantamount to the same fundamental reasons why illegal immigration is such a hot issue today. Major league baseball turned a blind eye to steroids for years. Why? Because as players lengthened their careers and set new records revenues rose. Period. When Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire went on their homerun spree in 1998, it was truly a spectacle. And MLB made a ton of money off of it. They were sorry to see it end. I even started watching baseball. It became interesting.

I don't advocate or condone the use of illegal performance enhancing drugs, but if Congress really wants to investigate something, they can start with MLB and ask why they ignored a long term issue with drugs. They should not spend more than 20 minutes on it because as a taxpayer I feel that's all we can afford. Once the 20 minute hearing is over, I'd like to know that our employees a.k.a. our congressional representatives are actually working and earning their living for once. That would be a novel idea. Congress working on something worthwhile and not wasting time on steroids.

Do we want our heros using steriods? Of course not because it sets a terrible example for our kids who look up to them. But guess what? We've also got the more pressing issue of kids experimenting with meth, pot, crack cocaine, alcohol, and the list goes on. I'd like to see better enforcement of laws related to these drugs than Congress wasting our hard earned dollars to see if Roger "The Rocket" used the juice. I couldn't care less! This is why I work well into the month of May each year to generate enough taxable income so Congress can have enough money to chase steriod users!? If they'd stop chasing shadows I might only have to work until March or April to maintain the care and feeding of our elected representatives.

This type of irresponsible Congressional hypocrisy is why America has lost its way. We are busy chasing our tails and wondering why we are not getting anywhere.

Obama-can

I never thought I'd see the day when a black man became President of the United States. It was something that many blacks considered an impossible dream. That possibility took one more step towards becoming a reality today with Barack Obama's massive win in the Potomac Primary this evening.

The huge support for Obama in D.C., Maryland and Virginia were tantamount to a repudiation of Hillary Clinton. Even more impressive for Sen. Obama was his consolidation of support in his key demographic but also the show of new support from voters that typically skew towards Hillary. Obama scored big wins with blacks, younger voters and higher income voters as usual. But he also showed strong results with women, lower income voters, elderly voters and more white middle class voters. He took a huge bite out of Hillary's base tonight. She didn't even campaign in the Potomac. She left that to Bill who was last seen trying to be "brother" eating sweet potato pie at a black church.

Sen. Clinton is beginning to look increasingly desperate. The wheels are falling off her campaign as Obama has now won seven straight primaries over Clinton. She fired her campaign manager and today her deputy campaign manager resigned. Morale must be very low in the Clinton campaign at this point. Expect Hillary to start crying for the cameras again in Texas to shore up her base. There is even increasing evidence that Barack is beginning to attract more and more of the Latino vote. If that happens, I think Hillary can forget it. In fact, you heard it here first from the Brother on the Right...if Barack wins Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania he will win the Democratic nomination and he will defeat John McCain in November. Sen. McCain simply can not stand up to the energy, magnetism, grass-roots support and passion of the Obama campaign. Obama represents "change" and a fresh set of eyes in the White House. McCain represents the familiarity of the same-old, same-old establishment. It would be a landslide for Obama. Millions of Americans would want to witness the history that generations before us never thought would happen. Obama can win.

Elections are largely about momentum and emotion. Barack's momentum is building into a gigantic tidal wave and I still don't think he has peaked yet. He has now even begun to attract conservative voters who don't like the idea of voting for McCain. I believe he is attracting some conservative voters not out of disdain for McCain but because these voters actually like Barack's message. These republican voters who support Obama are becoming known as "Obamacans".

As Hillary's campaign spirals downward, it will require a charismatic and effective leader to correct the downward spin and Hillary is not that person. It requires a "real person" with heart, integrity and desire to re-ignite the passion of the troops when things are going badly. I simply can not imagine her generating enough personal magnetism and charisma to rally her troops and get them fired up again. People want to vote for a winner and her base is beginning to jump ship for Obama. This behavior will soon stop being a trend and will become a pattern. Watch for Texas, Ohio and Pa. The road to the White House goes directly through those 3 states. Obama takes those states and Hillary folds. She will have to. She'll look around behind her and see two people holding "Hillary" signs. One of them will be Chelsea. The other will be an illegal immigrant holding an application for a New York State drivers license.

What about the Superdelegates? Couldn't Hillary still win with their support? Sure, if all of them go for her she could still possibly pull it off. However, her dilemma is if she does that, she will alienate millions of voters who are not happy that she pulled some trick out of her hat to win. She will reinforce the notion that she is dishonest and will do anything to get ahead. And then, get ready for President-Elect McCain. She will be through. For good. No one will trust her again.

Tough place to be in if you're Hillary. She'd have a hard time getting re-elected as a NY Senator and millions of illegals would have to go without drivers licenses.

How did it come to all this for the Clinton campaign? Hubris. Plain and simple. They assumed this was their election for the taking and they completely underestimated the guy from Illinois with the funny name. They assumed that their ability to dupe and fool the voters would work like a charm like it has so many times before. They never imagined that a black man could ever be elected President of the United States.

That's OK Bill-ary. Neither did many of us. Thank God we were wrong. Get ready for President-Elect Obama.
